Munckhof Business Travel has won the tender to provide international travel planning and transport services for a number of public broadcasters.
Munckhof will be responsible for organizing business travel, hotel reservations and various transportation options for broadcasters such as VPRO, Beeld en Geluid, and Nieuwsuur (NOS/NTR). This new contract strengthens Munckhof's position as a reliable partner for the Dutch public broadcaster, as they have been providing travel arrangements for major parties such as NOS and NPO for quite some time.
The agreement initially has a term of one year, but can be extended if the collaboration is successful. Birgit Puntman, Senior Manager Corporate Travel at Munckhof Business Travel, expresses her enthusiasm about the expansion of the service: “We have been working with the NOS and the NPO for a long time and know exactly what to take into account and what the special wishes are. This now enables us to also successfully support the VPRO, Beeld en Geluid and Nieuwsuur (NOS/NTR).”
flexibility
For public broadcasters, the collaboration with Munckhof represents a step forward in the efficient and consistent planning of their travels. The booking process, the management of transport services and hotel reservations are important aspects for broadcasters, especially given the unique and often demanding nature of their work. Employees of these organisations travel frequently for both news reporting and the production of documentaries and other content. This creates a need for a flexible and reliable partner who can switch quickly and deliver customised solutions.
In the past, Munckhof Business Travel has proven itself with its attention to specific needs and challenges within the broadcasting sector. Through years of collaboration with NOS and NPO, the company has developed a good insight into the special requirements for broadcasting-related business travel. For example, responding to sudden changes in travel plans and offering 24/7 support plays a crucial role, as journalists often have to travel internationally at short notice to report on current events. Munckhof’s expertise and customer-focused approach are also praised by other clients, which is probably reassuring for the public broadcasters.

Munckhof’s role extends beyond simply booking tickets and hotels. The company focuses on a comprehensive service that also includes local transportation options abroad. Whether it’s organizing transportation to and from airports, booking reliable taxi services, or offering public transportation options; Munckhof ensures that broadcasters can get to work quickly and safely at their destination. This approach allows the broadcasters involved to fully focus on their core tasks, while Munckhof ensures a smooth travel experience.
cooperation
The benefits of this collaboration are expected to become apparent soon. For broadcasting employees, this will offer greater convenience and less administrative burden. In addition, broadcasters can benefit from the cost savings that economies of scale and efficiency improvements often bring with long-term collaborations such as this one. If the results are positive on both sides, there is a good chance that the contract will be extended.
With the new contract, Munckhof Business Travel firmly established itself as the preferred partner for business travel within the public broadcasting sector. The experience and insight that the company has built up over the years makes them ideally suited to support and further develop the specific needs of this sector.
