The Fédération Nationale des Transports de Voyageurs (FNTV) recently expressed its satisfaction with the significant progress made regarding access for coaches to the Zone à Trafic Limité (ZTL) in the centre of Paris.

After months of consultation with local authorities, the city of Paris has revised its plans to limit traffic, taking into account the concerns of the tourism sector. These changes mark an important step towards preserving the capital's tourist activities, while also responding to environmental objectives.

Thanks to constructive dialogue, the municipality finally decided to maintain access to the ZTL for tourist coaches, provided that the departure or destination of these vehicles is within the demarcated area. This decision will have a positive impact on both tourist and economic activities in the heart of Paris. It will allow operators to continue to provide their services to visitors without interruption, which will maintain the attractiveness of Paris as a tourist destination.

In addition to maintaining access for coaches, the FNTV emphasises that significant progress has also been made in the process of controlling and regulating access to the ZTL.
