Unfortunately, the IT malfunction at the ProRail traffic control center has not yet been resolved. This means that no train traffic will be possible from/to/around Amsterdam Central this morning either. There are also no trains to and from the surrounding stations, such as Schiphol Airport and the other Amsterdam stations. NS and ProRail regret that we were unable to bring many travelers home last night and that they had to spend the night at the station. This is not what travelers should expect from us. Our focus is on ensuring that stranded travelers get home safely.

We ask travelers who leave this morning not to come to Amsterdam and the surrounding area, as there are no trains to and from Amsterdam Central this morning either. The advice to these travelers is to arrange alternative transport or work from home where possible. We find all this extremely annoying for our travelers. This outage also has a major impact on other parts of the country. We advise travelers to check the NS Travel Planner for the most up-to-date travel advice.
