The ten best Easter egg hunters have now been announced for the final in the Open Air Museum in Arnhem.

They were everywhere, behind train wheels, on the platform and in the wagons. It was a lot of searching during the preliminary round of the NK Egg Search 2023 in the Railway Museum in Utrecht. Meanwhile, twenty-eight participants battled for a coveted spot in the final on Saturday, April 8.

The ten best Easter egg hunters have now been announced. Together with the winners of the other preliminary rounds, they will advance to the finals in the Open Air Museum in Arnhem. The winner receives a grand prize of 10.000 euros. The National Egg Hunt is organized by the VriendenLoterij.

Sandra is one of the lucky finalists: “This is really something for me! I think Easter egg hunt is fantastic and then also in this beautiful museum, after closing time. When I saw it I signed up right away. I didn't expect this place in the final. Great that I succeeded!”

The first preliminary round of the NK Egg Search 2023 took place on March 23 in Aviodrome Aviation Museum in Lelystad. The ten best sleuths from this preliminary round are also known. On Saturday evening, March 25, the last preliminary round took place in the Africa Museum in Berg en Dal.

This year is the second year that the VriendenLoterij organizes the National Egg Hunt Championship. Participation is from 18 years and older and participating in the VriendenLoterij is not an obligation for participation. Aviation Museum Aviodrome, the Railway Museum, the Africa Museum and the Open Air Museum are cultural partners of the VriendenLoterij.
