“Responsible driving behavior is one of the most important factors in making traffic safer. The number of people driving under the influence of drugs continues to rise. Especially young, novice drivers participate in traffic under the influence of nitrous oxide, cannabis or ecstasy. The dangers of this, both in the car, on the scooter and on the bicycle are seriously underestimated.

The new drug and traffic course is expected to teach about 5.500 people awareness, responsibility and behavioral change in the first year. All this in three half-days spread over 5 weeks against payment of € 1.099.
From April 1, the CBR will offer, in addition to the existing course for people who drive too fast and dangerously, a new shorter course in behavior and traffic for speed demons who are stopped for the first time. The existing 'course behavior and traffic' (EMG) is aimed at people who have been driving dangerously and risky for some time or who drive too fast at 60 kilometers per hour or more.
