The Public Transport Employers Association (VWOV) is negotiating with the trade unions FNV and CNV about the new public transport collective labor agreement for 2023 and beyond. On January 10, the employers in regional transport made a proposal for a wage increase of 11% in total. Of this, 8% is from January 1, 2023, and 3% from July 1, 2024 for a collective labor agreement with a term of two years. The employers invite the unions to bridge the last differences in proposals on 17 January.

The difference between the proposal of the employers and that of the trade unions is still limited. Based on the discussions, the employers see room to work it out with each other. FNV and CNV have indicated, among other things, that they want a collective labor agreement with a term of 18 months with a wage increase of 10% as of 1 January 2023 and 4% as of 1 January 2024.

"The collective labor agreement is a total package. We talk about wages, but also about measures to relieve the workload." "

Kagie says that they invite the unions to discuss further with each other on January 17. Then they want to be able to come together and make agreements about the entire collective labor agreement. “We hope to be able to come to an agreement with each other then,” said the chairman of VWOV.
