Day of the planner on Friday, March 3, 2023.

Not a public holiday, but an excellent opportunity to show appreciation and gratitude to all planners. They often work together with a whole team, but they make sure that everything runs smoothly. They are often responsible for scheduling many tens of thousands of assignments per day.

On the first Friday of March you can lend a hand by putting your planners in the spotlight. A bunch of flowers or coffee with a cake during the break. Maybe you lay out the red carpet for a surprise lunch or give the planner a pat on the back, it's all possible. Together with your colleagues you can fill in how you envision this.

“It's important to remember that what matters is the gesture, not the value of the gift. A small, personal gift can be just as valuable as something expensive.'

Employers can also do everything they can on the day of the planner to express appreciation for a special task that must be performed with the utmost attention in the company every day. Planners ensure efficient planning of assignments on a daily basis. He or she is responsible for managing and coordinating schedules and fine-tuning the day-to-day due to staff loss due to illness or changes in existing assignments.

Go beyond the standard thank you. Put together a special thank you video with your colleagues. Remember, public recognition is even better. Whether it's at a weekly meeting, during lunch break, or through an employee of the month program, find a way to reward planners for their hard work. This can also be done via social media or the (local) radio. In short, get to work and make the day unforgettable.
