Since the abolition of the corona measures at the end of March, the morning and evening rush hours have been busy again due to the increase in commuter traffic.

The daily traffic jams returned last year. The ANWB concludes this on the basis of its traffic jam figures, measured across all A and N roads in our country.

Tuesday and Thursday were already the busiest days, but they only got busier. On the other hand, traffic jams had dropped by almost XNUMX percent on Monday morning.

In North Brabant, traffic jams quickly returned to their old level after the corona measures ended. In other regions, especially in North Holland, the effect of working from home was noticeable, according to the ANWB.
