Finally, due to the too great technical challenges, employers propose to cancel the proposed online registration of services.

The employers in healthcare and taxi transport, united in KNV Zorgtransport and Taxi, have made an ultimate attempt to come to a new collective labor agreement. The employers submitted an improved final offer for a collective labor agreement. The final offer has a term of eighteen months. The collective labor agreement must take effect on 1 January 2023 and will last until 30 June 2024. The employers have once again offered a wage increase of 8% as of 1 January 2023 and another 4% as of 1 January 2024. In addition, compared to the earlier final offer changes with regard to breaks and continued payment in the event of illness.

The employers want to change the current break scheme so that unpaid breaks may only be withheld if they have actually been taken. Under the current scheme, a maximum of 12,5% of the working time may be withheld on a flat-rate basis. In the employers' new proposal, in the event of illness, 80% of the salary will also be paid for the first eight weeks and then 90%, up to and including the second year of illness. The waiting day also lapses with the first sick report.

paid time

A sensitive point for the trade unions was the return to the former scheme of paid time. The employers also let go of the desire to return to the old paid time scheme. The employers do, however, propose to amend the current scheme to make it more applicable in practice. In the employers' proposal, the length of the shift can now vary per day, which is more in line with transport demand. At the same time, the proposal makes it possible for drivers to better connect private and work.

The employers also propose not to apply the commuting deduction if drivers have to use a charging station that is far from their own home. Finally, due to the too great technical challenges, employers propose to cancel the proposed online registration of services. Naturally, time registration remains mandatory, as is the mandatory provision of opportunities for the Social Fund for Mobility to check this registration. The unions have until Tuesday 29 November 12.00:XNUMX noon to respond. KNV assumes that the unions will submit the final offer to their supporters.

no FNV agreement

As far as FNV is concerned, the collective bargaining about a new collective labor agreement for care transport and taxi, which was resumed last Monday after a national strike on Friday, has failed. Members of FNV in the sector have subsequently decided to continue the strike. On Wednesday 30 November there will be a strike for 24 hours.

Meindert Gorter, director FNV Zorgtransport and taxi: 'In this sector, with many vulnerable passengers, we choose to announce the strike well in time. Then everyone has enough time to prepare for it. The drivers prefer not to go on strike, the fact that they do it says something about the necessity.'

In any case, on Wednesday there will be a strike at the three largest taxi companies Connexxion, Munckhof and Noot, and various other companies from all over the country will join them. Gorter: 'We hope that employers will take the opportunity to come up with an improvement on continued payment during illness and with better checks on the wage calculation before Wednesday.'

That quit work on Wednesday and do so because they want a better Collective Labor Agreement for Private Bus Transport. Taxi newspaper

Trade unions and employers have been discussing a new collective labor agreement for months. The drivers want, among other things, a wage increase of 100 euros gross per month and that wages from now on rise in line with the prices in the shops. They also want all services to be paid 100%. Lutz Kressin, director of FNV Toer: 'Now there are 6-hour shifts, but the drivers are only paid for 5. That is really out of date.' The drivers also want a working day of no more than 12 hours and that the contract hours be adjusted in case of structural overtime.

workload

About 3000 people work in the coach sector, but the work pressure is high due to the large staff shortage. The only solution according to FNV is a fair and attractive collective labor agreement. 'Then it will be interesting again for new drivers to come and work in the sector and for existing drivers to stay,' says Kressin.
