More than 3.000 activities in 10 days: the Ghent Festivities are back.

After already the poster was proposed, the program is now virtually fixed. The City of Ghent, De Lijn and the NMBS are doing everything they can to organize the way to and from the Festive Zone in an optimal way. 

For example, there are 10 fully accessible activities on the program, 65 reserved parking spaces will be set up for people with disabilities and additional adapted sanitary facilities have been provided. People with disabilities can also count on free assistance to discover the Gentse Feesten, every day from 14 pm to 23 pm. All measures are bundled on the Ghent Festivities website.

Do you want the full Gentse Feesten experience? Then do the real thing right away and come by bike. No bike? No problem! You can borrow orange city bikes in Ghent from Donkey Republic or blue electric bikes from Dott† Are you planning to come to the Feesten with your entire offspring? Bee baqme you can also borrow a black electric cargo bike.

park your bicycle in one of the guarded bicycle parkings

Have you always wanted to park your bicycle in an underground car park? This year you can leave your bicycle in safe hands in the guarded bicycle parking lot of the Sint-Michielsparking, entrance via Onderbergen. Or park your bicycle in one of the other guarded bicycle parking areas in the Sint-Lievenscollege, under the Vooruit or under the De Krook library. You can find unguarded bicycle sheds in: Maaseikstraat, Bisdomplein, Sint-Bavo, Baudelo, Minnemeers, Willem De Beersteeg, Coyendanspark, Houtdok, Kouter, Graaf Van Vlaanderenplein ('t Zuid), François Laurentbrug, Vlaanderenstraat, Sint-Jacobsnieuwstraat and on Drabstraat.

easily accessible by train

Thanks to the Duo Ticket or the Weekend Ticket, you can also drive to Ghent (in Belgium) with a 50% discount. Gent-Dampoort station is within walking distance of the party zone. Travelers who get off in Gent-Sint-Pieters can easily transfer to a shuttle tram that runs around the clock. Plan your trip and buy your ticket via www.nmbs.be and via www.delijn.be

These fixed lines bring you close to the Festivities Zone: tram lines 1, 2 and 4 and bus lines 3, 5, 6, 8, 17, 18, 20, 34, 35, 36, 38, 39, 42, 44, 48, 52,53, 54, 55, 58, 65, 67, 70, 71, 72, 74, 76, 77, 78. A return ticket costs 5 euros. During the Gentse Feesten, the night network does not run, but is replaced by the party buses. As every year, these depart from Ghent South, each time at 0.30 a.m., 2.15 a.m. and 4 a.m.

Comfortable and safe to your destination.

Taxis will be waiting for you at Sint-Pietersstation, Dampoortstation or other strategic places. Please note that taxis are also no longer allowed to drive in the Festive Zone after 13 pm. There are taxi ranks close to the Feestenzone (Sint-Michielsplein, Ottogracht, Reep, Keizer Karelstraat or Woodrow Wilsonplein) so that you can get home safely and smoothly.

If you come to the Gentse Feesten by car, you can leave it at the Feestenparkings (park-and-rides). Around the Festive Zone is a large zone reserved for residents. Visitors are not allowed to park there: not with the free visitor's ticket, nor with a parking ticket for people with disabilities. These are not valid on resident's places.
