If you come by car from outside Rotterdam, you can park it for free at one of the P+R locations

Due to the Rotterdam Marathon, the city center will be partially closed on Saturday 9 and Sunday 10 April. As a participant or spectator, it is therefore best to travel by public transport or bicycle. It is not allowed to take a bicycle on the tram or metro during the marathon weekend. Central Station and the Beurs and Blaak metro stations are easily accessible and are close to the start and finish location.

The Leuvehaven metro station will be closed until 10 p.m. on Sunday 15.00 April. Also be aware that several buses and trams are being diverted. Due to the expected crowds, bicycles are not allowed in the metro on Saturday 9 and Sunday 10 April until 20.00 p.m. Are you coming by car from outside Rotterdam? Then you can park it for free on one of the P+R locations on the outskirts of the city and then take the metro. When driving into the city, take into account road closures and considerable crowds.
