Hair on Wheels is the solution for those who want to visit the hairdresser. Last weekend, the Flemish hairdressing salons were able to reopen because since November 2020 you could no longer go to the hairdresser. Despite the hairdressers still not allowed to work at home, Lisa and Kevin have found a solution. They go to the people with a mobile hairdressing salon, after which the customers can take their own bus. Hair on Wheels does not only focus on home visits for a regular haircut, but is the ideal solution to do something with your bird's nest at parties such as weddings and communions.

Keep it moving!

We already knew the name Hair On Wheels. Sandra Croes started as traveling hairdresser at Walcheren but decided in August 2020, in the middle of the pandemic, to open her own hair salon at home. Lisa Vangrieken (28), on the other hand, starts working on her dream during the pandemic and decided to drive in front with a striking van. The van provides autonomous electricity for 9 hours, has hot water and drainage, air conditioning and adapted lighting. A fully equipped hair salon on wheels with numerous possibilities.

The hairdressers were closed, so everyone cut it themselves. A soft frou or bangs that are not cut quite correctly. Lisa from Veerle-Laakdal drives the mobile hair salon to her customers in the Zuiderkempen. Ideal for sending the children to the bus and in the meantime to keep busy at home. While hairdressers in the Netherlands are still closed today, you can go to Germany. So busy at the border hairdressers. In Belgium hairdressers are not allowed to work at home, while hairdressers with their own hairdressing salon are allowed to. Lisa's Hair on Wheels concept is perhaps one of the loopholes in the legislation because home visits are not an issue. The customers come to visit her in the mobile hairdressing salon.
