The municipality of Den Bosch has awarded a tender for the transport of its own officials to Greenwheels and Shuttel. Report that Greenwheels and Den Bosch. Greenwheels supplies seven electric and fifteen hybrid vehicles to the municipality. Mobility card provider Shuttle takes care of the administration and provides mobility passes, including the possibility of using the shared cars of Greenwheels.

The pass can be used for both station-based shared cars and the shared car park of the municipality itself. There is station-based car sharing where each car has its own parking space, where the cars also return. Three quarters of municipal employees travel this way. A pool car is used for 19 percent of business trips.

“We want all transport to be clean, smart and accessible by 2050. We fully encourage and facilitate this as a municipality. Of course we also want to take our responsibility in this. That is why we now opt for electric and hybrid pool cars. If possible, employees take bicycles or public transport for a business trip. ”, Councilor Ufuk Kâhya (sustainable mobility).

Both Greenwheels and Shuttel have Pon Holdings as shareholders. Another Pon daughter, Orion, won a tender from the Municipality of Utrecht.
