Many countries are working on the reduction of CO-2 emissions. Diesel buses may no longer be sold in the Netherlands from 2025 and diesel buses will no longer be allowed to drive in the Netherlands from 2030. This was agreed in a management agreement in 2016. Ebusco's objective is to make emission-free, clean and silent public transport available to everyone. Ebusco has since become ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certified. They are very proud of their certification.

“ISO 14001 demonstrates our commitment to the world's environment. Ebusco wants to be (and remain) a leading and innovative company and is successfully managing the transition to environmentally friendly public transport. Our design and production are focused on caring for the environment, ”Ebusco writes to them website.

At the beginning of June, Ebusco delivered 20 new electric buses to client Qbuzz in Utrecht. In total there are now 31 Ebusco electric buses in the province of Utrecht. These electric buses replace the current diesel buses that are now driving around in Utrecht. The objective of the Province of Utrecht is to replace all diesel buses by electric buses by 2028. Diesel buses that need to be replaced are already being replaced by electric buses.

“In our Ebusco 2.2 buses, we apply the latest innovations in areas such as weight savings, battery technology and charging infrastructure. The LFP technology battery in these buses is the best and safest battery on the market. Due to the combinations of these innovations, our buses can drive approximately 350 km on one battery ”and the buses will be charged mainly at night at the depot in Zeist. This is good for the life of the battery and saves considerable electricity costs', says Peter Bijvelds, CEO of Ebusco.
