Spain, Italy and Germany have taken measures that do not really work in solidarity. Interior Minister Christophe Castaner ruled on Saturday during a trip to Veules-les-Roses (Seine-Maritime) that "essential" is to take joint decisions on the reopening of borders within the European Union. He regretted that this is not the case after Spanish and Italian decisions this week.

In particular, Mr Castaner responded to the reopening of the Italian borders to tourists from the European Union and the disappearance of the mandatory quarantine for foreign visitors to the peninsula announced by Rome on Saturday.

In addition, the Director General of the International Air Transport Association (IATA) Alexandre de Juniac on France Inter announced the resumption of national flights in June and continental flights from July. IATA plans to resume intercontinental flights in the last quarter.
