At Willemsen de Koning they have a warm heart for nature. That's why they invested in twenty electric vehicles. From next week they will use these stylish Nissan Evalia minivans to bring the children they transport to school in a comfortable, safe and sustainable way.

Previously, they transported the students in nine-person vehicles. However, the Nissan Evalia can accommodate seven people. They have consciously opted for this. By transporting the students in smaller groups, we make the experience even safer, more personal and clearer for them. By also motivating the drivers to drive economically and in an environmentally friendly manner Willemsen the King optimal use of the capacity and durability of the vehicles.

With the twenty new luxury vehicles, Willemsen de Koning is reducing the carbon footprint and at the same time increase the comfort for the customers. Because the Nissan Evalia is 2% electric, it is quieter and greener than most other cars. Due to the zero emissions of these cars, they can proudly call themselves an even more environmentally friendly company!

no extra measures to avoid contact

With the recently launched protocol 'Safe student transport and safe childcare transport'the student transport and childcare transport can start as of 11 May in a normal way. This is stated by the business association KNV Zorgtransport and Taxi and trade unions FNV and CNV Vaknemers.

It is not necessary for children in student transport to observe at least one and a half meters. RIVM states this on the basis of the protocols for (special) primary education. No additional measures need to be taken to prevent contact between the driver and the students. Personal protective equipment or the installation of a physical partition are therefore not necessary.
