Not only aviation has come to a standstill during the corona crisis. Since April, agencies like EUClaim have barely been able to claim because there are hardly any flights. Analysis of the flight data entered during the preliminary investigation now usually shows that there is an extraordinary circumstance and the customer is unfortunately not eligible for compensation.

Usually the advice is to accept the voucher because a possible judicial process takes more time than it takes to eventually get your money back. The companies must still return money after a maximum of one year if the customer has not used the voucher.

not a strong case due to extraordinary circumstances

An extraordinary circumstance means a situation in which there is force majeure. The airline is not responsible for any problems with the flight. You can think of a strike by air traffic control, bad weather or political instability.

EUclaim is an agency that assists passengers in return for compensation from airlines in the event of culpable long delay or cancellation. Due to years of experience, they know that they cannot achieve a positive result and therefore they do not accept the claim application. Companies such as EUClaim ensure that air passengers who have been injured get what they are entitled to. When you have had a canceled of delayed flight, one missed connection or that you refused are on the run, you can contact them.

From the arrival of Regulation 261/2004 Airlines do not always comply with legislation. For this reason, EUclaim was founded in 2007 by Hendrik Noorderhaven. At that time, they were the only company in the Netherlands that committed to no European airline passengers on a no cure, no pay basis.
