If you travel by bus or tram, you are asked to get in at the back door and check in. The service provision of public transport companies at stations on the train, on the tram or on the bus may be different from what you are used to. GVB changes the timetable and takes extra measures for traveling by tram and bus. There will be fewer vehicles, especially during rush hour. GVB monitors the progress per day and where necessary the timetable is adjusted.

HTM will operate an adjusted timetable from Monday 16 March 2020. It is aimed at ensuring that travelers can continue to rely on the tram or bus. In addition, expected HTM fewer travelers due to coronavirus and sufficient staff available due to this measure. Unfortunately, due to the circumstances, bus or tram rides cannot be canceled on the day itself.

The new government measures mean that considerably fewer travelers use public transport. In addition, the stricter definition for sick reports means that many more public transport employees report sick as a preventive measure. For both these reasons, the RET will adjust the timetable from Monday March 16. Take into account changed departure times and lower frequencies. The adjusted timetable will soon be available in the travel planner.
