The companies have bought the Netherlands Authority for Consumers & Markets permission asked for the takeover. Sun holiday provider Corendon Holding BV is fully owned by Corendon Holiday Group BV and offers holidays with departures from Belgium and the Netherlands to more than 40 sun destinations, mainly in the Mediterranean region, but also to long-distance destinations.
Corendon Holding BV sells its products through its own website, its telephone contact center and through third party channels (travel agencies and online tour operators). Corendon Holding BV also operates a small airline, Corendon Dutch Airlines, which is part of the transaction. CND is based at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol and currently operates flights from Amsterdam Airport Schiphol and Maastricht Aachen Airport with three aircraft. In the summer period, the number of aircraft can rise to five.
Sunscreen Bidco BV (Sunweb Group): indirectly under full control since 2019 of Triton Managers V Limited, Triton Fund V GP S.á rl and TFF V Limited, as managing partners of various limited partnerships that together form Triton Fund V (hereinafter jointly : Triton). Triton is a group of independent European investment funds and companies. Triton's private equity funds invest primarily in medium-sized companies in Northern Europe, in particular in Austria, Germany, Switzerland and the five Scandinavian countries.
