The Discoverdezorg pop-up store will open its doors in the central hall of Utrecht Central Station from 10 to 21 March. The Discovery care pop-up store is an initiative of 14 regional employer organizations in Healthcare and Welfare, working together in RegioPlus. With this striking store, in one of the busiest places in the Netherlands, RegioPlus draws attention to the Discovery Week.
This will take place across the country from March 16 to 21. On Tuesday 10 March at 14.15 p.m., the Discoverdezorg pop-up store will be festively opened by alderman Maarten van Ooijen of the Municipality of Utrecht and healthcare and welfare professionals.

Visitors to the Discover Care pop-up store can get acquainted with the surprisingly versatile world of Care and Welfare, for example by taking the Z-factor test. Are they suitable for learning and working in care and welfare? For example, do they have empathy and are they initiative-oriented, communicative and team-oriented? In short: Do they have the Z factor?
In addition, career coaches are available in the pop-up store for substantive questions and 'customers' can talk to our healthcare ambassadors, who have been working in the sector for years. Every day, surprising things from care and well-being can be seen and heard on the Discoverdezorg stage. The Apple Pie Concerts Foundation, for example, gives a number of performances and surprising innovations from the sector, including CRDL and the Bicycle Labyrinth, can be seen.

The Discovery Care Week is the new name of the Week of Care and Welfare. RegioPlus has been organizing this week for years, to motivate more people to choose a job in Care and Welfare. This year this will be done under a new name and with a new look, in line with the national Ik Zorg campaign. The Discovery Care Week focuses on side-entry students and re-entrants. These are people who have previously worked in care and welfare and want to return. Or maybe they work in a completely different sector, but do have the Z factor!
During the Discovery Care week, the 14 regional employers' organizations in Zorg en Welzijn organize events throughout the country, such as job fairs, career festivals, meet & greets and job cafés.
