As of January 1, 2020, the current cooperation between the carriers and Zilveren Kruis will end. In recent years, the insured were transported safely and with great care by dozens of transport companies. From January 1, 2020, the Netherlands Healthcare Transport Center (ZCN) will provide taxi transport for Zilveren Kruis.
Today all carriers were informed of the intended changes. ZCN is ultimately responsible for Zilveren Kruis and will take care of the ride intake, information provision, quality control and administrative processing from 2020.
For the execution of the transport, ZCN uses a wide-ranging and stable network of fixed carriers throughout the Netherlands. In most cases, ZCN has already made agreements with the carriers to also provide transport for the Zilveren Kruis insured persons in 2020.
Submit claims for 2019 up to 7 February 2020 at the latest
The current carriers can submit the declarations for 7 until 2020 February 2019 at the latest. After this date it is no longer possible to submit claims to Zilveren Kruis. Zilveren Kruis will run its last run for 10 around 2020 February 2019. The FICA system will be completely shut down from 1 March 2020 and will then no longer be available to Zilveren Kruis and carriers.
The policyholders of Zilveren Kruis with current authorization were informed by letter. In this letter, the insurer indicates that this current authorization remains valid and that they can contact ZCN for trips in 2020.
