As of January 1, 2020, the Social Fund Taxi (SFT) will be renamed. It will be then Social Fund Mobility. The activities do not change, but the board of SFT is of the opinion that the word 'taxi' is less and less covering the load with regard to the companies and employees that Social Fund Taxi focuses on.

The word 'taxi' is often used for the boarding and ordering market (also known as the consumer market). This is only a small part of the activities of salaried companies. These companies are mainly engaged in healthcare transport (such as student transport, WMO transport, patient transport, etc.), but also additional public transport, HAP transport and business transport.

All forms of transport find a place under the term 'mobility'. The name change also responds to future developments such as MAAS (mobility as a service) and further integration of public transport and target group transport.

The change of name means that employees and employers in the taxi industry will now see SFT as the sender on the communications that were previously provided by Social Fund Taxi.

More information can be obtained by contacting the collective labor agreement inspectors and health & safety coach who would be happy to meet you on Thursday 10 October during the Taxi-Expo or by visiting the workshop 'Good on the road'.
