cabin online is the largest taxi company in the Nordic region and its technology platform offers everything from booking to shipping to payment for multiple taxi companies in the region.
The company has approximately 5.700 vehicles in Sweden, Norway, Finland and Denmark, operated by 2.700 member taxi companies, including Taxi Kurir, Norgetaxi, TOPCAB, Kovanen, Taxi Skåne, Taxi Väst, Umeå Taxi and Sverigetaxi.
To support the company's future growth, Cabonline is now integrating the Here location services into its platform, giving it access to more accurate maps, traffic information and routing algorithms.

The Eindhoven company Pitane Mobility took the same steps earlier this year and has also been offering HERE technology in its software for several months, where the accurate calculation of ETA and ETD plays an important role. The company previously concluded a partner agreement with HERE Technologies, whose headquarters in the Netherlands also happens to be located in Eindhoven.
The switch to Here location services is not only a result of searching for better and faster solutions in map and location services, but also a reaction to the enormous price increase of Google for the same services. Last year, Google increased the costs for these services by 140%, which has become a heavy expense for many small taxi companies.
