Various one-day bus trips are organized annually from the CLV. Johan Pouw, director of the Pouw Vervoer Groep to which Besseling Travel belongs, explains:

“CLV organizes many one-day bus trips within the Netherlands. Within this tender, not only price was considered, but also quality and sustainability. In addition to carrying out the transport, CLV will also be given the opportunity to use a tailor-made portal. Everything related to transport within the CLV can be entered in the portal, after which our experts at Besseling Travel will process the information. For example, the CLV works with a 1-stop function. ”

The assignment is carried out operationally by a specialist team that works at the head office in Vianen.

"In February 2018, Pouw Vervoer took over the activities of Besseling Travel, an established coach company in Amersfoort. Our transport group now has a number of branches in the Netherlands. For the contract with CLV we will mainly use the vehicles from our location in Amersfoort, where we will also use HVO vehicles in addition to Euro 6 vehicles. Finally, sustainability does not end with the separate collection of waste, but rather we look at those points that others do not think about quickly. Deployment of HVO vehicles is just one of them. I am proud that we can use our knowledge and experience for the next three years for the Christian Lyceum Veenendaal.”, Says Johan Pouw.

Christian Lyceum Veenendaal

The Christian Lyceum Veenendaal is an open, Christian school community. They offer space and safety to their students. In this way they guide them in their growth to adulthood, so that they can face the future with a good perspective. The CLV has been a well-known name in Veenendaal and the surrounding area since 1946. About 2000 students attend mavo, havo, atheneum or gymnasium.
