The Polestar 2 corresponds in terms of specifications and size to the entry-level model of Tesla. The Swedish competitor, which, incidentally, will be off the production line in China, has a 78 kWh battery pack on board. According to the manufacturer, the car has a driving range of approximately 500 kilometers.
The 4,60 meter long Polestar 2 has two electric motors and 408 hp. With that, the liftback sprints in 4,7 seconds to a speed of 100 kilometers per hour.
Polestar will deliver the model in the colors Snow (white), Magnesium (silver gray), Thunder (dark gray), Moon (anthracite), Midnight (gray) and Void (black). The Polestar 2 comes standard on 19-inch wheels.
According to Polestar, the first copies will be delivered in May 2020. The car, which is being built in China, can already be reserved. You do have to make a deposit of € 1.000. The Netherlands, together with Belgium, Germany and Norway, is one of the first markets where the Polestar 2 is introduced.
